Malina graduated with a Bachelor of Science (major in Biology, minor in Chinese language and culture) from the Loyola University of Chicago in 2021. She joined the MS program in Biomedical Engineering at NYU Tandon in the Fall of 2022, and she joined the de Lázaro Lab in January 2023. Her work focuses on the nano-bio interactions of different types of nanoparticles with immune cells.
