M.S. Biomedical Engineering

Jess recently graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a degree in Neuroscience. She worked in the Emotion and Cognition Lab at USC researching how sympathetic and parasympathetic function impact brain performance and cognition during aging. In 2024, she moved to NYC to pursue an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering at NYU, with a focus on tissue engineering. In the de Lázaro Lab, she is investigating in vivo cardiomyocyte reprogramming in the context of cardiac regeneration.
