Reeda Rashid
Undergraduate Student

Reeda is an undergraduate student majoring in Biological Sciences at Cornell University. She joined the de Lázaro lab for the Summer 2025 as part of the Undergraduate Summer Research Program hosted by NYU Tandon School of Engineering and as an American Heart Association Fellow. Previously, Reeda worked at Dr. Florian Krammer’s lab studying the prevalence of H5N1 Avian Influenza. In the de Lázaro Lab, Reeda is studying changes in cardiomyocyte biology caused by environmental pollutants.
