PhD Biomedical Engineering

Tristan studied Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma (OU) where he researched cancer immunotherapy and specialized in spheroid formation and histological techniques. He has also contributed to quantum materials engineering research during a summer Materials Research Science and Engineering Centers (MRSEC) Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at the University of Delaware (UD). He joined NYU and the de Lázaro Lab in September 2024, pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). He plans to explore in situ reprogramming technology and biomaterial development.
